It was a pleasant evening in the town of Hyrule. The sun had set, and the moon had risen high in the night sky. As usual, they would meet at their spot to admire the breathtaking sight of both celestial bodies shining in harmony. But that feeling would be disrupted when they heard screaming coming from somewhere in their vicinity. "Unwanted visitor" was what Link thought he'd detected by listening carefully to his surroundings; they're always bad news when it comes to this town! Just then, there were two more screams. On instinct, he turned his attention to these new ones but found nothing out of place...until he came across a strange creature with red eyes watching them from behind a tree... Link knew that it couldn't be anyone good, but he couldn't quite remember whose fault it was. "I guess I'll have to pay them a visit later..." Link quickly grabbed the Sheikah Slate from his pocket, flipped through some pages, then examined the smart device once more. "Eighteen minutes until dawn" was what he saw on it; still plenty of time to investigate where the strange creatures were coming from. He took off with Link's horse Epona, known as Epona's Song in this game's Zelda chronology. As he charged at full force down the dirt path leading towards their destination, Epona started running with all her might towards town anxious about what is happening there. The forest will never look the same again. Hyrule Field, where all of Link's adventures had started was now covered with twilight; an evil energy that has slowly overtaken this place. The once-beautiful landscape was now a hideous sight to behold. The darkened sky was slowly being taken over by the evil twilight, which will soon consume everything in its path unless something is done to stop it. Link felt saddened by what happened to the lush green field he once knew, but he knew he needed to focus on his mission before everything is dark forever. After much searching around the city, Link found many strange creatures known as Shadow Beasts prowling around town. Only one of them had red eyes, but it looked more like a kitten rather than a wolf. What was this creature's purpose here? Still, he did locate the one who caused the commotion through out town. It seems that the source of the screams was located at the town barber shop. Since he didn't want to risk injury, Link decided to investigate what's going on at that place. As he approached, he could hear loud voices and sounds that seemed to be coming from inside the shop with alarming frequency. What in Hyrule was happening? One of his associates rushed in and proceeded to tell him about an unusual creature that appeared in their barber shop earlier. One of them tried to attack it, but to no avail. It was then that the creature retreated. Nothing else happened until he came back later with his friends to investigate more about this incident. They heard strange sounds coming from behind the shop, which was then followed by loud shouts that scared them away for good. Link decided to talk directly with one of his associates about what they've seen inside before he decides on what to do next...
